Sheldon Rescue Reserve

Day 1

I have just rescued a Sheldon (Gallus gallus Sheldus domesticus) from captivity. It had been cruelly captured and was heading towards the black market. These majestic creatures live harmoniously with nature in the forest. My goal is to be able to rehabilitate this Sheldon and release it in the wild. For now I will give it love and a warm place to sleep so it can regain its energy.

Day 2

Rehabilitation has started. The Sheldon is scared from its journey back to our Sheldon Rescue Reserve. This is a very crucial time in the Sheldon life. For if one is not careful they may die. I have brought in one of our foremost rehabilitation experts to help ease this transition in the Sheldon’s life. So far the Sheldon is coming around.

Day 3

The Sheldon is finally responding to our care. Today we let it get a little supervised sunshine. And he is enjoying his nest. He is starting to show signs of a normal Sheldon and tomorrow we attempt to release it.

Day 4

The Sheldon seems to want to go back to its natural habitat. We are prepared to re enter it back to its home. Unfortunately not all Sheldon’s are this lucky. We went back to try and rescue more Sheldon’s from captivity but were too late. We found a Sheldon that tried to break free from the evil clutches of poachers and its life ended tragically.

Day 5

It is time to say our good-bys. This is one of the lucky Sheldon’s. He is happy to be back in his home. And after watching him for a few hours we will now leave him to fate.

3 Months Later

We were out and about to check on our Sheldon's. When who did we spot but the Sheldon we had rescued. It seems to be adapting well to its natural habitat and we are happy to report it is still alive.
